Kingdom Centre Sky Bridge Panoramic Observatory
Dominating the central skyline of Riyadh, the Kingdom Centre (Burj Al-Mamlakah) rises 302 meters high as an architectural icon of modern Saudi Arabia. Designed by Ellerbe Becket and Omrania, the skyscraper is crowned by a striking parabolic inverted arch spanned by a sixty-five-meter steel-and-glass Sky Bridge on the 99th floor. Reaching the observation deck involves two high-speed elevators that propel visitors 300 meters into the air in under ninety seconds. Stepping onto the glass-walled corridor, voyagers are greeted by an extraordinary 360-degree panorama of Riyadh's sprawling urban grid, from the illuminated skyscrapers of the King Abdullah Financial District (KAFD) to the distant desert horizon. Visiting at dusk provides a breathtaking visual spectacle as the desert sunset paints the sky in shades of violet and amber, followed immediately by the glittering neon transformation of Saudi Arabia's capital city.
