Burj Al Arab Jumeirah

Rising 321 meters above its own purpose-built artificial island 280 meters off the coast of Jumeirah, the Burj Al Arab is universally recognized as the sovereign benchmark of ultra-luxury hospitality. Designed by architect Tom Wright of Atkins to resemble the billowing sail of a traditional Arabian dhow, the hotel symbolizes Dubai's maritime heritage and soaring modern ambitions. Its interiors are a triumph of opulence, finished with 24-karat gold leaf covering nearly 1,790 square meters, Statuario marble imported from Italy, and an atrium that rises 182 meters high—the tallest hotel atrium in the world. With duplex suites serviced by dedicated private butlers, a suspended helipad that has hosted Federer and Agassi, and the underwater-inspired Al Mahara restaurant centered around a monumental aquarium, the property redefines the standards of hospitality. The luxury terrace extends 100 meters out into the sea, featuring two cabana-lined swimming pools and fine-dining experiences overlooking the Gulf horizon.
