Pamukkale Travertine Terraces & Hierapolis Ancient City
Warm mineral-rich thermal waters cascading over mountain ledges have formed white travertine terraces over thousands of years. Above the pools sits ancient Hierapolis, featuring an exceptionally preserved Roman amphitheatre and the Antique Pool where bathers swim among submerged Roman columns.
“The Cotton Castle: glistening white calcium cascade terraces crowned by Roman Greco-Roman spa ruins.”
